Purchase & Licensing Policy
This Purchase & Licensing Policy explains how Xoftworks software licenses work, including evaluation use, version coverage, upgrades, and business licensing options.
Evaluation Use
Xoftworks software may be evaluated for free for the duration of the given trial period, but a license must be purchased for continued use.
License Scope
The default purchase provides a license covering:
- Use by one person on all of their computer systems, or
- A single computer system being used by multiple people in a non‑commercial environment, or
- Use in a commercial or organizational environment under a valid commercial license, which may be per‑seat, per‑device, enterprise‑wide, or another model as specified at the time of purchase or agreed upon with Xoftworks
One‑Time Purchase
Licenses, unless otherwise noted, are a non‑recurring one‑time purchase.
A new purchase may be required for future major versions, depending on the version coverage described below.
Version Coverage
The license is good for at least all releases within that major version. Minor updates are free.
For example, a license for version 1 is guaranteed to work for all 1.x.x releases, but it is up to the discretion of Xoftworks whether 2.x.x will work under that license.
Upgrades & Future Versions
When a new major version is released, Xoftworks may offer discounted upgrade pricing, free upgrades for recent purchasers, or compatibility extensions at its discretion.

Business & Multi‑Seat Licensing
Organizations requiring multiple seats, device‑based licensing, or centralized activation should contact Xoftworks directly to discuss business licensing options.
Policy Changes
Xoftworks reserves the right to update this Purchase & Licensing Policy. Any changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively alter the terms of licenses already purchased.
